Each year York Region Grade 7 students are invited to participate in the development of the Water for Tomorrow Calendar.

About the Student Calendar

Thirteen illustrations from York Region students are published annually in a calendar promoting the Efficient Use of Water in York Region. Students were requested to prepare an illustration/drawing on a theme relating to water use in York Region. Illustrations promote the benefits of improved use of water in the broader terms:

• Reducing the amount of water we use in our homes, schools and businesses,
• Improving the quality of water in our streams and lakes, and/or
• Protecting groundwater resources and deferring the need for new water and wastewater treatment capacity.
