Water Efficient Toilet Rebate Terms and Conditions

1.Purchase must be made between January 1, 2012 and March 31, 2012. All submissions must be received within 90 days of the date indicated on the proof of purchase. Final submission date is June 30, 2012. Submissions received longer than 90 days after the indicated purchase date cannot be honoured.
2.Purchase must be of a WaterSense labelled HET (High Efficiency) or DF (Dual Flush) toilet during the promotional period and be installed in a single family residence within The Regional Municipality of York. An updated list of qualifying toilet models can be viewed here.
3.Copy of Proof of Purchase document (sales receipt) must clearly indicate: name of retailer; date of purchase; toilet model name, manufacturer and model number and number of qualifying toilets purchased.
4.Application form must be completed in full.
5.The property where the toilet(s) is installed must be a single family residence located within The Regional Municipality of York.
6.Maximum of three toilets per location will be allowed for the rebate. This number includes toilets purchased during previous York Region promotions.
7.This promotion is applicable to single family residences only and is not available for multiple unit apartments, builders or contractors.
8.Offer valid only for toilets installed as retrofits in existing residences. Toilets purchased for new construction do not qualify.
9.The Regional Municipality of York does not warranty the quality of workmanship, the suitability of the premises or the toilet for installation, or that the performance of any toilet or its installation will be free of defects.
10.The applicant shall indemnify and hold harmless The Regional Municipality of York, its officers, council members, partners, agents and employees, from and against all liabilities and damages, in any way based upon or attributable to, the applicant's participation in the Toilet Rebate Program.
11.The Regional Municipality of York reserves the right to alter, cancel or discontinue this program at any time and to reverse the rebate if the information provided by the applicant is either incorrect, or untrue, or if the Terms & Conditions of this program have not been met.
12.The Regional Municipality of York reserves the right to inspect the installation of the toilet(s) and flush volumes of each new toilet. This may include an inspection of the residence to monitor and evaluate efficiency of the unit(s).
